“Best of the Best”: GROHE Zedra kitchen faucet convinces experts and consumers and wins Kitchen Innovation Award 2021

  • The jury particularly emphasizes user friendliness, innovation, product benefits, design and ergonomics
  • GROHE Zedra simplifies everyday kitchen life with its innovative triple spray

United Arab Emirates: It’s official: Consumers trust the qualities of GROHE Zedra. The newly invented line of kitchen faucets received the “Golden Award – Best of the Best” in the “Kitchen Faucets and Sinks” category at the Kitchen Innovation Award 2021. The jury and consumers were impressed by the intuitive operation and the variety of functions. A highlight among the many user-friendly features of the GROHE Zedra is the Triple Spray, which is unique in the GROHE product portfolio and offers additional convenience for everyday kitchen use. Zedra is a fantastic example of the GROHE product philosophy: consumer-oriented design combined with state-of-the-art technology, which also enables more sustainable water consumption. The Consumer Award for GROHE Zedra, which awards high scores in the areas of design, innovation, ease of use, ergonomics and product benefits for the user, proves once again that the Zedra fitting is the perfect solution for every kitchen project.

Always a perfect fit: flexible handling for every need

A modern kitchen faucet not only has to look good, it also has to be functional and easy to use – in short, a real kitchen helper. The GROHE Zedra line, available in chrome and super steel, fulfills these requirements with its versatile functions and has what it takes to become a real everyday hero in the kitchen. The pull-out shower arm offers flexibility and is ideal for preparing vegetables or cleaning the sink. The integrated triple spray is a unique advantage: if a strongly condensed jet is required to clean stubborn dirt from pans, the blade spray is the product of choice, while the shower spray is ideal for rinsing off vegetables. The laminar spray ensures a strong, clean spray jet that prevents splashes when filling pots. After the work is done, the spray arm can be easily retracted thanks to a magnetic docking system – smooth and simple. This also applies to the assembly of the faucet: thanks to the GROHE FastFixation Plus assembly system, assembly is problem-free and makes upgrading the kitchen with GROHE Zedra child’s play.

Same performance with less water? The Blade Spray is powerful, but saves up to 70% water compared to the Shower Spray and makes Zedra fittings real pioneers for more sustainable water consumption. In addition, the integrated pause button on the pull-out shower arm enables the flow of water to be stopped, for example when moving around in pots, in order to save water and prevent accidentally flooding the kitchen counter. GROHE Zedra fittings mean more ease of use and sustainable water consumption for your customers’ kitchens.

In addition, GROHE Zedra faucets offer advantages in terms of safety and health: Special internal waterways ensure that the water does not come into contact with lead and nickel in the faucet. This makes GROHE Zedra particularly safe for households with children.

A modern touch: Zedra meets EasyTouch

Regardless of the jet intensity, Zedra fittings always offer simple and intuitive operation. A practical addition to the system is Zedra Touch, the Zedra version of the EasyTouch technology from GROHE. The technology allows users to control the flow of water with their hand, wrist, or elbow. This ensures additional hygienic conditions in the kitchen – ideal for dirty hands and especially when cooking meat or fish. The temperature for the EasyTouch function can be preset via an integrated mixing valve, which ensures a safe water temperature and prevents scalding.
