BMW Japan brings a new edition of special vehicles onto the market. This time it is the family of 8 who have the honor of presenting a limited edition. The BMW 8 Series Frozen Black Edition is based on two different models: the BMW 8 Series Coupé (G15) and the 8 Series Gran Coupé (G16). Both cars feature one of the most exquisite matte colors you can order today, which enhances the aggressive yet luxurious look of the 8 Series.
The special model from Japan is a completely black paint affair with as few shiny elements as possible. Thanks to the Shadow Line, the Frozen Black color goes perfectly with the black kidneys and exhaust pipes. And of course the 20 inch 728M rims in black. The M sport brake calipers are also painted in black and have been adopted as special equipment. The 8 Series Gran Coupé Frozen Black Edition is also equipped with an electric panoramic glass roof.
The interior also features exclusive black M sport seats, a BMW Individual Alcantara roof lining, black Merino leather upholstery and BMW Individual piano black trim. The cars are also equipped with the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System.
A total of 20 copies of the BMW 8 Series Frozen Black Edition are to be built, only 5 of them for the 8 Series Coupé. Sales will start on Wednesday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. (Tokyo Time) exclusively in the BMW Online Store.
