Boil water advisory rescinded for the city of Kingman; Rural District 1 remains in effect

TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has overturned a boiling water recommendation for the City of Kingman, Kingman County’s public water system. The notice was issued because of a pressure loss due to a water pipe rupture. Failure to maintain sufficient pressure can result in loss of residual chlorine and bacterial contamination.
