LEWISVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) – The City of Lewisville waived the plumbing and electrical permit fee for repairs to home or commercial property damage caused by last week’s winter storm.
The Lewisville Fire Department and other city crews responded to 973 requests for broken water pipes from Sunday, February 14 through Sunday, February 21. Electrical repairs may also be required due to the storm.

Although the fees are waived, permits and inspections are still required. A contractor must register through the Building Permit website on cityoflewisville.com. In the “Comments” section of the form, the contractor must note that this service is storm-related.
