Collection O Bathroom Faucets from THG Paris

The O to Studio Putman collection combines the creatives of Christofle, the late Andree Putman and THG. The “O” design was originally introduced by Putman for Christofle in 2002 as part of the Vertigo collection, but its popularity with modern and contemporary design aficionados has kept this simple but poignant design feature alive and well. The “O” has now been expanded into its own “O Collection” for a wonderfully liquid bathroom fittings and fittings set that is available in various chrome and gold versions. This neatly lined gooseneck faucet reflects the ring shape of the handles and makes a curvy statement that would be absolutely stunning on any washbasin. I love the inclusion of a rounded bar of soap in this photo as a repeating element of the faucet and faucet set.

The O collection is not limited to countertops as they can be used here for wall mounting. Installed this way over a ship’s basin, the curvy waves of the rings make them appear as if they are slowly drifting down.

Bathtubs are also a great place to showcase the O collection. What could be nicer than adding visual interest to the edge of a freestanding bathtub than highlighting it with this graceful and flowing design.

The handle of the Collection O is so well designed that at close range one would think it was a free-standing sculpture worthy of any art collection.
