The Country Kitchen Family Restaurant, which was previously located in downtown Millsboro, has moved to 28521 DuPont Boulevard, where the Mill Pond Family Restaurant was previously.
“We moved about three weeks ago. With the coronavirus restrictions and construction in the city center, it has damaged our business. We decided to move. We’re across from Ferguson Plumbing Supply, ”said Tina Rivera, who has been a waitress at the restaurant for seven years.
It was referring to road works in downtown Millsboro, including replacing sidewalks. Work began on the corner of the church and the main street.
The opening of the new location took place on Wednesday, March 24th.
Formerly on the Royce Mini Mall between Main Street and Washington Streets and known for American home cooking, the house has the same hours and menus, Rivera said. It belongs to Suliman Email.
“Customers love Country Kitchen. Our regular guests follow us and we have many new customers. People really like the chicken pot pies, but we also have menu items for vegetarians. We have a vegetarian omelette, a vegetarian wrap, and a vegetarian rustic sub, plus lots of platters – lasagna, spaghetti, ravioli, stuffed mussels, ”said Rivera.
