The duct replacement this week will require lanes to be closed on three routes in Howard County.
According to a press release, the Missouri Department of Transportation crews are about to block a lane of Highway 3 between Route JJ and County Road 215. Highway 5/240 between Route FF and County Road 209; and Highway 87 between Highway 187 and County Road 316.
Work on each site will begin on Tuesday, October 13th. The lanes must be closed every day between 7 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. These improvements are expected to be completed by Friday, October 23rd.
Flags are placed in each area to guide drivers through the work areas. Drivers are advised to find an alternative route in the work areas or expect minor delays.
All work depends on the weather and can be delayed.
