Culvert Pipe Replacement To Affect Traffic On 52 In Stover

If your plans are for Stover Lake Community, you may need an alternate route.

MoDOT says it will close a lane of Highway 52 next week to replace the passage pipes, and that will slow traffic down a bit.

Work is scheduled to start on Monday, but that could change due to weather conditions.

Replacing the passage pipe for impact on Route 52

MORGAN COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close a lane on Missouri Route 52 in Stover next week to improve roadside drainage.

MoDOT will replace the culverts between Elm Street and Fourth Street on Monday October 19th. One lane is closed from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flaggers are used to guide drivers through the work area.

Some delays are possible. Drivers are advised to look for an alternative route in the work area. MoDOT says they value the travelers’ patience during this work.

The work depends on the weather and can be delayed. For more information on this project or other traffic-related topics, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or www.modot.org/central. Follow MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook and Twitter for project updates.
