Faucet features that let you control the way you spray

Q: I am planning a long-awaited change of the kitchen faucet in my kitchen. I want a pull-down type with a multifunctional spray head. Before I dive into one guy, can you go over a few different spray head features that I can potentially include?

A: Many pull-down and pull-out kitchen faucets have various shower head functions to choose from. Here are some that I’ve worked with.

Break. This feature stops and starts the water flow quickly without turning off the faucet handle.

Ring pattern. This circular spray pattern is great for daily cleaning and flushing.

Soft spray. A wider, light stream ideal for gentle washing.

Spray spray. This function creates a thin, powerful jet of water that is ideal for rinsing.

Boost. With just one press of this button, you can temporarily increase the water flow. You will have a lot of fun using Boost.
