Wilcon Depot opened a branch in Ormoc, Leyte, and another in Cordon, Isabela, where it brought its wide range of local and international brands and products – from tiles, sanitary ware, plumbing, furniture, interior design, building materials, hardware, electrical, to Home appliances and other home improvement items – closer to customers in these provincial locations.
Lorraine Belo-Cincochan, President and CEO of Wilcon Depot, and Rosemarie Bosch-Ong, SEVP-COO, led the store openings in these two areas. The opening of the Wilcon Ormoc Depot was attended by Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez, Councilor Vincent Rama and Architect James Jao.
The inauguration of Wilcon Depot Cordon, meanwhile, was led by Wilcon Depot AVP for Sales and Operations Francisco Lazaro, AVP for Engineering Nicholas Agbing and AVP for Information Technology Rowel Mapolon along with local government officials – Cordon Municipal Mayor Lynn Zuniega, Vice Mayor Jane Ngipol, Rep. Alyssa Sheena Tan, and a representative of the Office of Vice-Governor Faustino G. Dy III.
These two store openings are part of Wilcon Depot’s expansion campaign called # FlyingHighTo100, which aims to target 100 stores by 2025. Wilcon currently has 67 operational stores nationwide.
