“Baking soda on its own will clear a lot of dirty sludge from your drain, and if you add a little vinegar too, it creates a chemical reaction that hopefully should clear the clog.
“First, pour a pot of boiling water down your drain. Pour a small amount (maybe half a cup) of baking soda down the drain. Let it sit there for a few minutes
“Then add a cup of white vinegar and a little more hot water. Leave on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse with boiling water.
“You should be able to hear the chemical reaction as it gushes away. With luck, the debris trapped in your drain will break down. “
