Hutchinson police are investigating a theft that occurred Monday morning from an apartment building on Sherwood Street.
Authorities say that just before 11 a.m., an employee of a local plumbing company was working in an apartment on the 1000 block of Sherwood Street SE and had to return to work to collect some items and leave some tools outside in the apartment where he was there was work.
When he returned he was missing the $ 2,021.00 worth of tools.
