James A. Beauchamp Jr., 70, of Selbyville, died Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born in Lewes to the late James Adolph and Frances Jane (Snyder) Beauchamp.
Jim owned Beauchamp Plumbing & Heating Inc. for many years. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth H. Beauchamp of Selbyville; a daughter, Jill B. Wells and husband Jamie from Dagsboro; a brother, Keith Beauchamp of Georgetown; a sister, Seena Drain from Milford; four grandchildren, Jamie Beauchamp Jr., Joelle Beauchamp, James Wells Jr., and Morgan Wells; and two great-grandchildren, Preston Beauchamp and Carson Beauchamp.
In 2006 he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Beauchamp.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville. Friends can call an hour before the service. The funeral will take place in Bishopville Cemetery in Bishopville.
