President Joe Biden’s infrastructure plan resulted in billions of dollars being used to remove lead from drinking water systems.
The bipartisan Infrastructure Act (Public Law 117-58), signed by Biden on Nov. 15, pledges $ 15 billion in funding to replace lead pipe over the next decade, the Better Act (HR 5376) would add an additional $ 10 billion to add funds.
