Lower State Road To Close For Pipe Replacement In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN, PA – Lower State Road will be closed and rerouted between Almshouse Road and Bristol Road in Doylestown Township during Thanksgiving Week.

Closing begins Monday, November 23 through Friday, November 27, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. as Bucks County’s maintenance teams replace a pipe, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said in a press release.

Drivers on Lower State Road are directed to use Route 202 and Bristol Road. All planned activities are weather dependent.

“Work on this operation will be carried out in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the Ministry of Health, as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan that includes protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and professional issues Site cleaning, management of the entries on the construction site, special signing and appropriate training, “says the press release.
