Main pipe repair works in Igan, Mukah begins today, says JBALB

The JBALB Mukah Division conducted a search for the source of the leak in Igan a few days ago after the water supply was cut.

KUCHING (March 5): Repair work on the main pipe water leak in Igan, Mukah will begin today, the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) said in a statement.

This is due to the disruption in the water supply that occurred in the area a few days ago.

“Yesterday, after several days of searching, the JBALB Mukah department found the location of the leak. This leak had cut off the water supply in the area.

“Repair work on the pipe leak will begin today by contractors appointed by JBALB. We apologize for the difficulties faced by those affected, ”said the department.

The area’s water supply has also been taken over by JBALB and all affected residents have been asked to temporarily store water.
