Mirchi Voice Solutions& Prince Pipes celebrate the spirit and zeal of plumbers on World Plumbing Day

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 22nd (ANI / Mediawire): Mirchi & Prince Pipes celebrated the spirit of plumbers across India on World Installation Day. The 2020 lockdown triggered by the pandemic had a significant impact on day laborers, including plumbers, who struggled resiliently to survive.
After the lockdown, the unsung heroes immediately got to work – solving unsolved plumbing problems in societies and private homes with a die-hard mood.
Prince Pipes has been celebrating World Plumbing Day since 2018 and this year Mirchi & Prince Pipes took the initiative to celebrate the day through a unique campaign aimed solely at celebrating the resilient spirit of plumbers.
Nihar Chheda, corporate strategy of AVP, Prince Pipes and Fittings Limited [PPFL] said: “The lock-up period in 2020 was undoubtedly a challenging time globally and one of the most affected segments was day wage earners. As one of the largest plastic pipe and system manufacturers in India, committed to paving the way for a future that delivers clean water, we have taken the lead to bring members of the plumbing community through this novel initiative on World Installation Day Express solidarity and gratitude. We started commemorating World Installation Day in 2018 and every year thereafter we have taken a unique initiative for the plumbing community with which we work very closely. This year’s campaign allowed PPFL to go the extra mile and have the talk of supporting our plumbers, which is generally taken for granted. Offering accident insurance is a unique and novel expression, a first in the industry, which gives us the opportunity to express appreciation. We thank the Mirchi team for working with us on this powerful initiative and helping us bring it to urban and semi-urban centers to build stronger ties with the sanitation community. “
Vivek Mohan Sharma, Head of Digital Businesses at Mirchi, Entertainment Network (India) Limited, said, “As a sunshine brand that brings positivity and hope to millions of people every day, Mirchi has always prided itself on bringing the most important stories to the fore need to be heard by our consumers. These are stories of heroes who are not celebrated by us on a daily basis and whose heroic deeds do not catch the eye. I am very pleased that a day that is not so widespread is being celebrated by a thoughtful campaign by us, and I hope that we can make it even bigger next year. Mirchi Voice Solutions have once again reached audiences across India by innovating ideas for customers who need specific content-based solutions to meet their marketing goals. Our RJs, the network of nine stations and our branded solutions department, Mirchi Brewery, have helped bring a simple thought to life beautifully. “
