Mum reveals the hidden dirt in your kitchen sink

You might look at your sink and think the drain looks pretty old and grubby – but it’s actually covered in grime and grime and is easy to clean.

A mom and stylist, Liz Amaya, revealed how she converts her filthy pinhole to be in tip-top condition and actually a lot easier than you think.

The Australian mom posted on Instagram where she said we often don’t know how “utterly gross” our kitchen routines are.

“Here’s a clip on how to thoroughly clean your drain – think of it as your motivation,” Liz said.

All you need is bicarbonate of soda, white vinegar, an old toothbrush, and boiling water, which will give your sink the deep cleaning it needs.

First, Liz said that you need to remove your drain with a screwdriver to reveal the buildup of dirt lurking underneath.

Pour a cup of vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes

Then sprinkle some soda bicarbonate right over the built-up mass before pouring vinegar over the lot.

Let it sit for a few minutes for the cleanser to work, then use an old toothbrush to give the area a good overload of scrub satisfaction.

Dirt and grime should decompose easily and make a much shinier drain. Then just pour boiling water over it to wash everything away.

“Oh my god, I’m so scared to look at my drains now,” wrote one woman.
