National, local groups pitch in to help Jackson water customers

Jackson’s water teams are sending water samples to test while the city suspends a boiling water notification that is still valid for 43,000 plumbing points. City officials said 120 water samples from different locations must be cleared for the day on two consecutive days, in the meantime residents must continue to boil their water, as they did last month.
