Olympus’ long IPLEX GAir videoscope combines maneuverability with wide-angle images for complex pipe inspections. The pneumatic articulation enables maneuverability at distances of up to 30 m with excellent image quality, according to the manufacturer.
The videoscope’s guide head is designed to slide easily through tube connections, while the pneumatic articulation provides fine control even when the 30m insertion tube is fully extended. A gravity sensor automatically rotates the screen image regardless of the orientation of the oscilloscope, while the insertion length indicator shows how far the videoscope has been extended.
The image sensor, the ultra-light LED lighting and the image processing software of the videoscope deliver wide-angle images. An optional 220-degree fisheye adapter is available for an even greater view.
