People Are ‘Cooking’ Chicken In The Sink And It’s A Disaster Waiting To Happen

Anyone who has ever had food poisoning knows it’s not a pleasant experience, but a TikToker still made it seem like they were making themselves sick by “cooking” chicken in the sink.

Let me start this by stating that while you can eat some rare, medium rare, or even blue meat, “medium-rare” chicken is not a thing and will almost certainly make you sick. If not, you probably have a steel stomach.

Despite this fact, TikToker Suchefful has created a tutorial on how to use your kitchen sink to get “pretty much guaranteed perfect medium rare” chicken every time.

The video, which I emphasize as a joke, shows how the “cook” carelessly tosses a raw chicken breast into the kitchen sink before supposedly running hot water over it.

The heat of the water manages to turn the outside of the meat from pink to white, but that doesn’t mean it’s cooked enough. Even so, the TikToker holds out and ensures that the chest is flipped halfway through the “boil” to make the shoddy attempt more even.

Once the outside of the chicken is almost completely white, the cook pats it dry in some kitchen paper before serving it with some broccoli. Then, to show exactly how successful – or terrible – the effort was, they cut into the chicken to reveal the still raw meat inside.

The TikToker called the dish “Sink Chicken” and joked, “If you haven’t tried Senk Chicken, you haven’t lived.” To further indicate that the food is not serious, they added the hashtag “Salmonella”.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who can say that when Sink Chicken is alive, I’ll be happy to keep going in whatever state of consciousness I’m in.

While the seriousness with which the TikToker seems to try to cook the chicken may seem real at first, a quick look at their account shows that when it comes to food, they are all about satire. Edible dishes like ‘Pringles Cookies’ and ‘Chocolate Chicken’.

While everyone has their own taste, I probably wouldn’t recommend relying on search ful for inspiration for your next meal!
