Pfister® REACT™ Touch-Free Kitchen Faucets Offer Purposeful Technology and Convenience in the Kitchen

SEEWALD, California – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Convenience in the kitchen is important. In the room where delicious meals are prepared and dinner conversations are held, the kitchen is a place where a helping hand is always needed. For this reason Pfister® has developed its contactless kitchen fittings Selia and Pasadena with REACT ™ technology.

The touchless kitchen fittings from Pfister were designed with simplicity in mind. Thanks to the proprietary REACT (Response Activated Technology) you can turn water on or off by simply moving your hand or an object within the sensor range.

“Today’s homes are filled with intelligent technologies that are supposed to make our lives easier, but sometimes this technology can be overwhelming,” says Darin Heuer, Group Marketing Manager at Pfister Faucets. “Our touch-free kitchen faucets provide technology with a specific purpose that enables consumers to carry out everyday tasks such as washing up or washing their hands conveniently and efficiently.”

REACT helps consumers maintain a cleaner, healthier kitchen by minimizing the spread of germs, fingerprints and water stains. In addition, the Hibernate ™ mode allows the user to deactivate the sensor while cleaning the faucet. The SmartStop ™ function automatically switches off the tap after two minutes to save water, so that consumers have peace of mind.

The manual override mode increases the flexibility of the faucets and allows consumers to operate the faucet using the handle instead of the sensor at any time, while the extended pull-down hose reaches every corner of the sink.

Additional faucet features include:

  • The advanced AccuDock ™ spray head docking system ensures a tight connection to the tap outlet

  • EZ Clean ™ nozzles on the spray surface allow mineral deposits to be removed with a quick wipe, so Selia and Pasadena touchless kitchen faucets look like new for longer

  • The configuration with 1 to 4 holes allows a versatile installation

Both the Selia and Pasadena faucets with REACT are powered by 6 AA batteries. A plug-in option is available separately.

“We have integrated targeted technologies to make our products easier to use and to offer consumers an affordable option,” says Brian Schaadt, Senior Product Manager at Pfister Faucets.

Selia Touch-Free Kitchen Faucet is available now in select Lowe stores, and the Pasadena model is available now in select Home Depot stores. Both models have an MSRP of $ 299. Further taps with REACT technology will be available from Pfister wholesale partners from April 2015.
