Britain’s richest plumber Charlie Mullins has cut the price of his Essex mansion by £ 350,000 in search of a quick sale following the divorce of his second wife.
The stunning six bedroom home with marble floors, home theater and gym was listed for £ 4.75 million a little over a month ago.
But it’s on the market for £ 4.4m now as Pimlico Plumbers’ multimillionaire boss looks for a quick sale after finalizing his divorce from wife of four, Julie, 48, last December.

A spokesman for Mulllins, 68, said the sale of a house in Hutton Mount, near Brentwood, was not a “direct result of the divorce”.

When Mullins, which is valued at an estimated £ 70million, bought the house for £ 3.5million in January 2019, it was a record purchase for a property in the area favored by bankers and city financiers.

The outspoken businessman spent over £ 1 million updating the property, which he mostly used on weekends.
Now he is single and lives in a spectacular penthouse in central London, where he runs his business empire overseas with more than 450 employees.
After putting the house up for sale, he said, “It was said that” the only way is Essex, “but Essex was not for me.
“Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful house and I’ve spent well over a million pounds on it, so anyone lucky enough to buy it will get the right grade!”

The home was first listed on February 3rd at a price of £ 4.75 million and has been described by real estate agents as “a stunning property that has been renovated to a very high standard and makes a delightful family home”.
Access to the mansion is through electronically operated gates, and inside no expense of renovation was spared, which annoyed many of his neighbors who objected to his work cars, which were often parked outside the house.

Mullins and his second wife, Julie, were married in Las Vegas in 2016, and the couple have often been spotted together at Conservative Party events posing for photos with Boris Johnson.
Previously, he was married to his first wife Lynda for 40 years. The divorce treaty cost the father of four about £ 12 million.
Mullins said in an interview earlier this year that splitting up with Julie wasn’t that expensive and only cost him a couple of mills.

During the pandemic, Mullins spent much of his time in Dubai growing his business.
He has been criticized for only employing people who have had a Covid 19 vaccination and said he wants to introduce a “no jab, no job” policy.
It was also blown up before Christmas when he said he would prefer a “repeat” of the pandemic to Brexit.
The ardent remainer claimed that leaving the EU would do more “permanent damage” than the health crisis and said the prospect of no trade deal was “a disaster too far”.
The entrepreneur, who runs one of the UK’s largest independent plumbing companies, was also criticized last summer after he said those who still work from home are “selfish” and “don’t care about the economy”.
