Pipe replacement project will close Liberty Valley Road in Perry County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews will begin work on a pipe replacement project in northeast Madison Twp on Aug. 18.

Liberty Valley Road (Route 4002) west of Heritage Hill Road will be closed to through traffic between Route 850 (Fort Robinson Road) and Heritage Hill Road. The road is expected to reopen on September 8th.

The detour takes you via Route 850 and Route 17.

Drivers can check conditions on more than 40,000 kilometers of road at www.511PA.com. This is free and available around the clock. It offers warnings of traffic delays, weather forecasts, information on traffic speed and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras (103 of) which are in the center of Pa.
