Plumbers from Cocoa Beach help return water to homes in Texas

A group of plumbers from Cocoa Beach was just returning home after spending days bringing water back to homes in the Houston area. Chris Golubski is back at work solving the problems people face in and around Cocoa Beach. For the past few days, he and three others from Cocoa Beach Plumbing have made home calls in Texas. “We just tried to do as much as possible in the time frame we had,” said Golubski. The winter weather left part of the state in crisis and thousands ran out of running water. Among those without water was Caprina Trotter’s mother. “I got down on my knees and prayed and asked God for the answer because Mom wanted to give up. She felt so defeated and so did I, so I prayed,” said Trotter. “Your roof had collapsed, we have the line on that Attic replaced, the whole line was leaking so we wanted to get it right so she didn’t have to worry a little about things, “said Golubski.” A team of four hitting 40 houses is a big deal “, Sarah McCay said. McCay owns Cocoa Beach Plumbing. She said after calling a church in Houston last week, a plan came together in an hour and her team did the 1000 mile drive the next day. “I knew I had people who said yes in the blink of an eye, and they did, and they honestly did it, they dropped everything,” said McCay Reise, all the more importantly. “We loaded a trailer with a lot of stuff and at the end left some for them “, sa goodbye McCay. With so many people still struggling, the team could make another trip to Texas soon. “We still have more to do,” said Golubski.

Chris Golubski is back at work solving the problems of the people in and around Cocoa Beach.

She felt so defeated, and so did I, so I prayed,” Trotter said.

“Her roof had collapsed, we replaced the line in the attic, the entire line was leaking, so we wanted to get it right so she didn’t have to worry,” said Golubski.

“A team of four hitting 40 houses is a big deal,” said Sarah McCay.

McCay is the owner of Cocoa Beach Plumbing. She said after calling a church in Houston last week, a plan came together in an hour and her team did the 1000 mile drive the next day.

“I knew I had people who said yes in the blink of an eye, and they did, and they honestly did it, they dropped everything,” McCay said.

With so many pipes broken, it was difficult to get supplies in Houston, which made the trip all the more important.

“We loaded a trailer with a lot of stuff and ended up leaving quite a bit for them,” said McCay.

With so many people still struggling, the team could soon be making another trip to Texas.

“We still have more to do,” said Golubski.
