Plumbing, HVAC technician jobs expand with fluctuating workforce

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida – Whether you work in an office or at home, your comfort likely depends on HVAC and plumbing technicians. In the midst of COVID-19, the demand for these stores is increasing. A territory company must immediately add double-digit numbers to its workforce.

Hi-tech plumbing and ventilation technicians are busy daily with residential and commercial jobs from northern Palm Beach County to Fort Lauderdale, and there is a growing fleet of wheel repair shops that are more visible on the go.

“We get between 50 and 100 calls a day,” said Philip Juliano, Hi-Tech Plumbing and Air Supervisor. “The company is growing and the demand is there.”

The more workers go back to work, the more air ducts need to be repaired or replaced in commercial buildings. There is also an increase in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cooling as others continue to telecommute.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s a private home or a trade office. We’re like investigators, and our job is to be as thorough as possible and find the cause of the problem,” said Nick Miller, Hi Tech plumbing and air installation technician. “Our work really has an impact on the customer’s health.”

“Upgrades also save customers electricity costs and the life expectancy of their machines,” said Juliano. “It goes into every aspect of it.”

Companies like Hi-Tech Plumbing and Air need at least 20 new plumbing, HVAC and customer service representatives to keep up with the fluctuating workforce.

“We are a lot understaffed,” said Juliano.

The demand for plumbing and HVAC workstations is growing. Hi-tech plumbing and ventilation technicians are booked daily with residential and commercial jobs from northern Palm Beach County to Fort Lauderdale.

Experts said that combined demand will only increase if the personal savings rate increases too.

“The personal savings rate has gone up, and what are people doing with their money. They are renovating their homes,” said Tom Essaye, founder and president of Sevens Report Research. “”[Workers] spend more time there than they ever thought and they have more money lying around and now you are seeing a tremendous demand for plumbers, electricians and contractors from people doing renovations. “

Essaye cites the demand for plumbing and HVAC services as a bright spot in the economy. For more information on job vacancies as a plumbing technician, HVAC technician or customer service representative, please visit: https://www.hi-techplumbingandair.com/about-us/employment/.
