Plumbing relief assistance available to certain Taylor County residents | KTAB

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB / KRBC) – Local nonprofits are joining forces to help a number of Taylor County residents struggling with damage from the severe winter weather in February.

Beltway Park and Big Country VOAD’s Boots on the Ground division are now providing sanitation assistance to residents meeting certain income requirements.

“Homeowners living in Taylor County with low income, no insurance, or a high deductible that homeowners cannot meet,” United Way of Abilene explains.

The following documents are required at the time of application:

  • Valid ID
  • Documents from sources of income and / or pension
  • Documents showing the homeowner’s insurance deductible (ONLY required if insured)

Applications can be downloaded here. When you’re done, send it to United Way of Abilene along with required documents at [email protected]

Anyone who needs help with the application process or has questions can call the United Way of Abilene Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at (325) 677-1841.

All applications must be submitted by March 10, 2021.
