WEST HAVEN, CT – The city will begin repairs to plumbing ducts and pipe cladding in the West Shore starting in mid-February.
City Engineer Abdul Quadir said the work would take place February 15 through July 24 on Hillside Avenue, Bellevue Avenue, Milton Avenue, Howard Street, Grand Street, Lake Street, Connecticut Avenue, Colonial Boulevard, Colonial Circle, Baycrest Drive and Honor Road.
During the road works, sewage operations in residential areas will be suspended for about four hours, Quadir said. Residents will be notified by letter a week in advance and 24 hours before work starts, he said.
The project contractors are Insituform Technologies Inc., based in Missouri, a subsidiary of Aegion Corp., and Inland Waters Inc. from Rhode Island.
