In February, more than 100,000 people flocked to the Las Vegas Convention Center to see what’s trending in the kitchen and bathroom industry and to read new building materials. The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and International Builders’ Show (IBS) featured over 2,000 manufacturers and companies from around the world to showcase the latest in appliances, fittings, surfaces, air / weather barriers and other building materials for kitchens – and bathroom products.
Thanks to technological improvements, new products meet the growing demand for healthy building environments and sustainable practices. Integrated technologies that connect plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems form a symbiotic building system.
There were some pretty spectacular sights to see. We were impressed with 3D printed faucets, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, plumbing fixtures developed by San Francisco plumbing startups, and the next generation of smart toilets. Below you will find the latest trends from KBIS and IBS.
