Simon Gallanders, Cole Waterhouse
Simon Gallanders was named Managing Director of Cole Waterhouse Residential, joining from Real Estate Investment Partnerships where he has spent the past 12 years. He said, “The mix of projects that are now forming the pipeline is incredibly exciting and we are ready to move on to the next phase of delivery until the end of this year.”
James Mulcare, Godwin Developments
Godwin Developments has promoted James Mulcare to Head of Residential Capital Markets and has supported the company’s acquisitions, development and financing strategy for all of its residential projects – including urban and suburban Build to Rent (BTR), purpose built student housing, affordable homes and senior housing developments .
Mary Beck, SevenHomes
SevenHomes, the regional house builder of the SevenCapital Group, has appointed Mary Beck to the newly created role of division manager. Prior to joining the company, she developed her career at Taylor Wimpey and became a technical director at the age of 28, a position she has held for the past four years. She said, “I am very excited to join SevenHomes.”
Andy Outram, Construction Scotland Innovation Center
The Construction Scotland Innovation Center (CSIC) has announced the appointment of Andy Outram as its new chairman. He has 35 years of experience in the UK construction sector. He is currently Senior Director of Real Estate in Scotland at Turner & Townsend and has been Head of Project Management for the company since 2015.
Kevin Robertson, Scottish Property Federation
New Scottish Property Federation (SPF) chairman Kevin Robertson, executive director of KR Developments, said today he will use his tenure in the office to focus on restoration and rejuvenation after the lockdown. He said, “My top priority is making sure the real estate industry is in a strong position to play a leading role in our national recovery.”
Amer Alkhalil, Barratt Homes
Barratt Homes Northampton has appointed a new General Manager, Amer Alkhalil, after serving them as Operations Director for the past two years. He is a former site manager who joined Westbury Homes as a site manager and was a production manager for over 18 years. He was also the managing director of two privately owned regional developers.
John Martin, country
Countryside has named John Martin as its new chairman. The auditor is the former CEO of the plumbing and heating company Ferguson and has been with the company for more than nine years until November 2019. Before he was head of the company, he was Group Chief Financial Officer. He was also a partner in the private equity group Alchemy Partners.
Sarah Sands, Berkeley Group
Berkeley Group Holdings plc announced the appointment of Sarah Sands as its new non-executive director. After holding numerous senior journalistic roles including editor of BBC Radio 4 Today, the London Evening Standard and the Sunday Telegraph, she currently chairs the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Board for 2021 and the Bright Blue political think tank.
