A work truck and tools were part of a break-in between Saturday and Monday.
Salina Police Department said 32-year-old Travis Finch of Salina reported his Summitt Plumbing work truck, a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, was parked outside his residence in the driveway on the 500 block of Sunset. The truck had been parked since Friday, and on Sunday he noticed that the latch on the side of the truck was still in the locked position but had been pried open.
Toolbox lock damage was valued at $ 140. Finch had several personal tools and some of Summitt Plumbing’s tools were stolen. Most of the tools were Milwaukee branded power tools. The total value of the damage and stolen tools is $ 2,940.
