VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Public Works is closing part of Baltic Avenue for storm drainage.
VB Public Works announced the immediate road closure on Tuesday, the same day it closed for emergency repairs on the road.
The closure will be on Baltic Avenue between Holly Road and 30th Street.
It will be closed until Wednesday March 3rd.
Officials say the project will likely result in traffic delays, traffic jams and some construction noise.
Advanced warning signs are clearly displayed to inform drivers about road closures and detours. Citizens are encouraged to use alternative transport routes if possible.
