Water turned back on at Knoxville apartment complex

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (WVLT) – Tenants of Hudson on the Greenway, an apartment complex in Knoxville managed by Brookside Properties, had their water turned on Monday night after it was originally turned off on Friday.

On Thursday residents were told that their water would be off for most of the day on Friday as West Knoxville Utilities replaced a water meter on a water pipe in the complex.

Saturday night, just after 11 p.m., the complex emailed residents saying that the installed meter had burst the water heaters and forced the complex to turn off the water for all residents while they were working on fix the situation.

The complex provided water bottles and purses to residents outside of the office.

WVLT News has asked management for a comment but has not received a response.

Disclaimer, Will Puckett, who originally reported this story, lived in Hudson on the Greenway and moved out on Friday but has an ongoing lease until mid-October.
